Industrial

Our Boston Colonial Pavers and our dentated style, Z-Lock pavers, form a strong, stable resilient interlocking surface ideally suited for pavements subject to heavy vehicular loads and traffic such as crosswalks, streets, parking lots and industrial yards. Dimensionally accurate, with distinct beveled edges and a slip and skid resistant surface, these durable units have high resistance to freeze-thaw cycles and deicing salts, and are not damaged by petroleum products or indentations from high temperatures. In the event underground repairs are necessary, the pavers can be removed for access to underground utilities and then reinstated without leaving an unsightly patch. Interlocking concrete pavements require low maintenance and the mechanical installation feature of our Z-Lock style can reduce construction time and costs.

For permeable pavements intended to mitigate stormwater run-off from streets, roadways and parking lots, our Andover 5511 and Aqua-Bric 8 provide the same characteristics, durability and performance as our other heavy-duty paver styles.

Note: Pavements subject to vehicular traffic require proper design by an experienced engineer in accordance with established flexible pavement design procedures and correct installation by qualified contractors. The Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) has a series of TechSpecs and manuals that provide technical guidance on design and construction. Please contact our office for more information.
